for Healthy Ageing at home

The Central Coast Health & Wellbeing Living Lab is a real-life experimentation hub designed to help us live better, healthier lives in our homes as we age.

About Us

It will see a wide range of stakeholders come together to develop, test and deliver smart solutions that help us live satisfying, engaged lives in our homes as we grow older.

Why ageing at home matters

When we can live independent, satisfying and engaged lives at home, we are generally happier and tend to live longer.

When that’s not possible, we see strains on our hospitals, aged care facilities and families.

The Central Coast Health & Wellbeing Living Lab will focus on solutions that make it easier for us to age at home.

Our First Living Lab Workshop

The Central Coast Health & Wellbeing Living Lab held its first collaborative workshop on 13 February, 2024.

Expert facilitators took over 40 specially selected stakeholders through the vision and goals of the Living Lab and used creative workshop methods to draw out challenges and opportunities with living at home in our older years.

Outcomes will guide the Living Lab’s strategic direction and initial activities.
